   Bio

   Archie Pelago is a live/production outfit emphasizing the fusion of instrumental textures and experimental beat landscapes. The Brooklyn-based trio is comprised of Cosmo D (cello/ableton), Kroba (sax/fx) and Hirshi (dj/trumpet).

   Combining an electronic method with their unmistakable chamber approach, when the three guys get in a room together, a singular melding of sound unlike any other takes place. With their productions and groundbreaking live experience, they balance their original music with live remixes of their favorite dance jams.

   In early 2012, their remix of Distal and HXDB's "Booyant" dropped on the Tectonic label and made waves. This spring, Mary Anne Hobbs tapped them to do an exclusive mix for her show. This summer, they release their 12" vinyl debuts on Brooklyn's Mister Saturday Night Label and London's Well-Rounded Invididuals labels. On the live front, Archie have shared the stage and opened for artists Matthew David, Nosaj Thing, Shlohmo, Dorian Concept, Distal, Yppah, Ben UFO, and Oneman.
